September came too quickly
Opening doors so swiftly
And I found myself unready
For things that fell abruptly
September went too quickly
Opening doors uncomfortably
Into October, all too soon
As though we already knew...
(once recovered from this fall)
...that it has come be the truth:
When sadness finally escapes me
A piece will remain for you.
